M4 Coupe Test Mule's First Sighting

BMW's fifth generation M3 coupe or M4 coupe to be correct, as BMW now calls their coupes with even numbers. First spy shots.

BMW has confirmed that the M3's V8 is going to be replaced with a turbo inline six which may use up to three turbochargers to deliver around 450-horsepower. in the F30 based M cars. M3 will launch before the M4.

BMW will offer a standard six-speed manual gearbox and an optional seven-speed dual clutch transmission with power being delivered to the rear wheels.

The M3 Coupe / M4 is rumored to launch in mid-2014 with a hardtop convertible variant to follow shortly after.

Looks pretty big, but I am sure BMW engineers will once again find a way to defy the laws of physics. I may actually be slightly more excited about a possible M2.

1M coupe is a success. I am sure M2 will be too.

M2 coupe render by Roger. I think the headlights will be more like F30 3-series integrated with grill.

With a few subtle changes to the M2 rendering above (headlights being one of them), it could be a good looking car.

I have seen a few M4 renderings on m3forum that look pretty darn good. Others, not so much. Then again, it is always like that.
