Intro, new owner

Hi guys,
Very happy to report I added a new M car to the family.

We have a Alpine white 2010 BMW X5 M with black interior.

So far the M has been great.

As any used car it has its wear and tear. So far no major repairs thankfully.

I hope I can sort out some of my questions with the help of the forum members and posts already in the forum.


I need to research how to load US maps on my GPS as the maps loaded are for Europe. Can US maps be loaded? I bought the US maps CD update, but from what I researched I software needs to be loaded first with US info.

One of the minor problems is the left rear view mirror is tilting like it should when entering reverse but intermitently not going back to its original position, might this be something related to programing?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
