Dreaded "not another wheel question"
2008 with Msport package. It comes with Style 192's: 18x8 et44/18x9 et51rear Not too sure of the rubber on it yet, so no info on that. She wants 20" rims, found a set 20x9 et30 all 4. VMR's see pic below. She cares about looks and feeling the road. Harshness of ride is not an issue as she is coming from a coilovered e36 M3 that she liked to keep firm and low, lol. I know these do not really fit into the offset range that BMW puts on this chassis (38-56ish). But I have compiled a list from reading dozens of dozens of posts on here that dont fit into BMW's offset, that people are running. Avant Garde M310 F-20*8.5 et30 R-20*10 et38 wheel size front 245/45/19 (9")*offset*24, rear 275/40/19 (9")*offset*24 8JX18 ET20) with 235/55-18 20x8.5 - 20x10 w/ 245-40 & 275-35-20 et35 So I figured I would post and see if anyone has run a square 20x9 et30 on an X3 without any major issues. Real world experience trumps what people think/suggest. I believe I wont have any issues clearing the inside, it is only the fender that I would be encroaching on. |
