Central Information Display not opening

Anyone had the same issue before?

My central information display is not opening. When the open button was pushed, the screen will try to open, but it seems like something is holding it back. I don't know.

Any recommendations?

Behind the screen there are 2 screws only accessable when it's open perhaps if someone removed it or replaced it they dropped it or didn't screw one in all the way. It's safe to try to open the screen by hand when the vehicle is off. For removal. Pull vents with hazard and unlock toward you "vent is held by clips" 2 screws in front 2 in back behind screen when open. Motor is located on left side of memory serves me right.... It sounds like you have an obstruction though. I had a customer drop a pen in his, he got it so jammed I had to remove the screen to get it out
