Some mods on my X3

Wheels, tires and tint added since my purchase on 12/31/05.

Wheels: 18x8.5 et38
Tires: 235/50-18 BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW2
Tint: 50% front, 35% rear

I'm missing the centercaps on the wheels; they're on the way...

Better pix later.

818,

Titz!
I really like the wheels, espc. the inner black rim
and the tint is really needed on the X3 with that wimpo stock tint they give. Car looks outstanding.!

Very nice! Are you happy with the way the tires ride/handle? Are you getting BMW center caps? Looks like the entire inside part of the wheels is black - is it?

Thanks everyone.

X5Jay,

All I can say about the tires is: Holy Sh*t! The grip compared to the all-seasons that came with the X3 is night and day. It might just be me and the "feel" but my X3 feels a tad quicker due to the grip.

I am getting some BMW centercaps. I've also ordered some black/white BMW logo stickers, I may use them as well.

And finally, yes the entire inside of the wheel is black.

VERY nice! I love the color of your X. I'm looking into getting rims, too. Can I ask how much those set you back? tires and all?

Yes, the wheels are from ebay (EuroTech). I paid $525 plus tax and picked them up. They are located in the north San Diego area so I saved on the shipping ($125). Drove down and back early Sat. morning. I was home in time for lunch.

Tires, mounted and balanced, with tax was $900. Got them from Just Tires. TireRack has them for $184 (a bit cheaper) but I went with convenience.

Good people at EuroTech. When I picked up the wheels, they said the replica X5 wheels (20" chrome or silver) will fit the X3... BUT you cannot use a staggered set-up.

These specifically:
