Interior door damage caused by seat belts?

Has anyone else had a problem with the 2005 X3 seat belts catching on the door seal and not fully retracting? I have had a few incidents of this and the last one caused a nasty gash on the vinyl of the door when the door was closed on the seat belt latch that was caught on the door seal. Dealer wont fix it under the warranty.

Mine has a few of those also. Since you already inquired about warranty coverage, I will not even bother.
