Installed Sirius in the X3

Got back from my networking group meeting on Tuesday, took my wife to our health club and came home to install the Sirius reciever. Start to finish about 35 minutes and I wasn't in a hurry. BMW does such a fantastic job of pre-wiring the X3 that if you can read instructions and use a philips screwdriver you can do this install. Everything was where the instructions said it would be and there were no suprises. Only one note of caution. NOT all install kits come with the curry colored antenna connector, that you must have, in the box. Ask your parts guy to open the install kit before you get off the phone or walk away from the counter. If you don't have one, you need to buy it seperately. Nothing worse than getting to that point where you need it and don't have it. Mine came with it so no worries here. After the install I called Sirius, I'm already a customer, and had them turn on the reciever. Done, tools put away and sirius is programmed. If you are like me, you'd never have a car with out it.
