Help...question about exhaust tip!!
It was too late because I had already purchased the X3 chrome exhaust tip everyone was talking about. The tip that I bought cannot fit over the M package tip for it has a bigger diameter. It looks like the M package tip is fitting over another tip but I'm not sure if it's welded on or not and I'm scared to yank it off risking damage. Does anyone of you have any experience with this please help!! ![]() ![]()

From the pictures it looks more like the muffler tips were dipped in chrome instead of fastened on. Plus the two tips look flared making it impossible to get such a tight fit with no seam.
Just my guess...

it's not possible to remove it yourself. It doesnt look that bad to me though. Why do you hate it?

Yeah it doens't look THAT bad but it's just that the BMW chrome exhaust tip looks so much better |
