yup, the X is pretty impressive. I handled to get through a snowstorm couple weeks ago in canada here. Not once did the light blink either. Other than this, the X is very useful for parking here. The parking lot here is usually full and I can usually just drive onto those parking space that covered by little snow hill. Of course, not only X3 can do it, all other SUV do it but I am still happy with that.

Im also really happy with the X3 in the snow i put on a set of Dunlop SP WINTER M3 tires and this truck is unstopable. the traction light kicks in only when i make a fast turn snow or else wow its great

What does it mean when the 4x4 light blinks or stays on? I had mine in 10+ inches of snow this past weekend. It did well but not as well as other SUV's I have owned. I feel that if the tires were a bit more aggressive or just winter tires that it would be great. But then I would'nt have the traction that I do now driving down the Autobahn.
