New X3 owner, i have few questions

I havent spent much time w/ the car yet. Just drove it home. But first thing i thought of is do they come with factory remote start?

I bought silver / sport package. Anyone got pics of a silver X3 on 20" wheels? I cant decide on satin or crome finish and want to get some ordered here before end of this week.

I traded my 99 m3 and my 03 Gti 20th Anniversary in for this X3, quite a change of car for me.

Are 20's too big for X3?

I traded in my 99 m3 w/ 19's MVR Magnums.. I wonder if i can get them back ??

First off... welcome and enjoy the car!

I am unaware of the X3 having factory remote start.

I don't know how 20's will fit, or even if they will fit. I did however see a black X3 with X5 4.6is wheels... now that looked awesome!

It would be hard to do a factory start considering that BMW keys use special codes each time to start ignition. Good luck with that.

20" is not too big for an X3. Just make sure you get some 20" BMW wheels

As always on a forum... post some pictures !!!

I just got back from signing paperwork, ill post pic of the car later today.

I think im going to get some 20' Style 87's. Someone on x5world is selling a set for $1500 w/ new rear tires.

I asked about remote start today and they advised against it of course. I did buy an Ipod cable and im going to order the XM box.

A pic? you can do better then that

Style 87's are nice, i've seen an X3 with it before and it was awesome..!

Yeah I don't think the benefits of remote start warrant the work on a BMW car... the key system is just so complicated... i'd spend your money and your time doing other mods...

First road trip tonight.. does that red light always stay on? Is there a way to turn it off... ? The one that lights the shifter, ect.

I love it! Cruised down the interstate nicely. I fit alot of stuff into it. There was very little road noise crusing at 80MPH, ect.

I also bought some 20inch style 87's they should be here tuesday

I need to figure out how to hook up my Treo 650 to the X3.

I will try to take some pics tomorrow.. I have titanium Silver..
