Installed my phone cradle today.
I got my Phone cradle install kit from my Friend Brian today. Of Course I couldn't wait to install it. It's a pretty simple install, even with out instructions.
1, Remove the rubber pad in the console tray 2, remove the four torx screws holding the tray to the rest of the console lid assy. 3, from the back of the tray pull up. That will remove the tray from the assy. 4, You need to move the big black plug out of the way. There's no way the new assy will fit. Believe me, I tried everything. It's snapped in place but it's nothing that MR. Pliers wont fix if you are gentle. 5, snap the new surround in place and secure with the four screws. 6, feed the antenna wire and the black plug through the opening. 7, plug in the antenna and the big black plug. It's keyed so there no way you can plug it in wrong. 8, Move the black plug assy to the far left of the opening inside the tray so that the phone cradle and adapter will snap in with out hitting it. 9, Install the adapter into the cradle. 10, Snap that assy into the opening. It's pretty easy to figure out which way. 11, Snap your phone in to the adapter. I have a Moto E815. 12, Turn the key to pos 1. 13, Turn on Bluetooth on your phone. 14, have a beer.
