Motorola V3X and Bluetooth

I have a Motorola V3X and Bluetooth in my 2006 X3. The phone had limited functionality in the car and I could not access the addressbook. The system was very buggy.

Today I downloaded the Motorola V3X frimware update for Hutchinson 3 telephones and the problems are fixed!!

The phoen now has full functioanlity and the address book is fully accessible.

It is available only for Hutchison 3 users at the moment. It is ment to fix a range of known issues.

Good work Motorola!

I've just yesterday ordered a V3X. Can you tell me more about this firmware upgrade? Where do you get it, and how do you load it?
Is there a particular version? Maybe I can request it be loaded before my phone is shipped.

Thanks

This is the link.

I believe it only works with Hutchison Three phones. It is a link from Motorola Australia's site.

It fixed all my bluetooth problems and Motorola V3X bugs.

Hopefully your new phone will be updated already. Also there is still no snap in adaptor to my knowledge for this phone.

My phone is an unlocked version, coming from the US, to be used in Canada. It won't be tied to a particular wireless vendor, so I may not be able to apply that update. Hopefully it will have the latest firmware when I get it.

I ordered the both Bluetooth and the V3x on Friday. Should have them both by the end of next week. Hope they work!!

Update: My V3X works perfectly with the X3 Bluetooth. No problems at all. What a great phone too!
