Try PIAA superwhites. I have them but don't think you'll get the same color as Xenons. The bulb type is in your manual and you can search for PIAA on the web to find the best price.

'06 x takes the H11 bulbs
$29.00 + s/h

U want the XenonMatch blubs (55/65 Watts), not the XenonMatch Plus (80 Watts will likely get too hot for the foglamp housing). Those are more suitable for low/high beam applications. Besides the regular XenonMatch ones are rated at 4,000k which is closer to "pure" white and a better match then the purpleish/blue tint of the other ones.

Just my 2 cents. Someone else may have a different opinion. I ordered the XenonMatch bulbs last Thursday and got them yesterday. Installed when I got home from work. The look at night from a moderate distance is amazing. Almost can't tell the difference between the brightness of the headlights and fog lamps. Definitely an huge improvement over the yellowish stock bulbs.

No pictures yet. Just got the X on Tuesday. But had ordered the fog lamp bulbs in advanced based on info obtained here. I want to do a few more mods before I post pictures. Otherwise I'd be posting pictures of a stock X.

Ordered the same fog lights that you have. Did you have any trouble taking off the fog light lens?
cheers

No, not at all. In fact there's a thread on here that describes the process step-by-step. Unfortunately I'm still fairly new to posting on here and do not know how to provide you the link. I'm sure if you did a search on foglight or foglamp replacement the neccessary thread(s) will be displayed. That was how I found it initially

Basically the housing pulls off from the front and there are 2 screws to remove. Then the bulb assembly pulls forward and out. Unplug the connector and then the bulb will twist slightly to one direction. Replace the bulb and reverse the process to reassemble. Hope that helps a little. Good Luck.

FYI, just remember to never touch the bulb with your bare hands. Oils from your fingers will cause the bulb to fail sooner than normal due to the increased heat on the glass from the grease/oil.

TIA
