Service bulletin fix for AT owners

An answer to those who complained about the automatic transmission holding gears too long on uphills. Just passing this on if someone hasn't already read it elsewhere.

Great post! I hadn't seen this yet. Time to schedule a service with the dealership! Thanks!

I was at the dealer yesterday and this was one of the things to look at. They said it will probably be mid Sept - Octber time frame before they will have it.

I was in the habit of kicking over into manual 5th gear when this would happen and thought it was just a 'quirk' I would have to live with. Nice to know there's a fix coming.

Hi Maxey! Thanks for bringing this up. I was just fixin' to dig it up myself as I'm taking the X3 in for 15K service soon. It's still going to be a few weeks but I'll try to let everyone know how it goes.

I had it done at our 15k mile service, or so it said on the work order. I haven't really noticed much difference in the way it shifts.
