Replacing with 07 heads and tails

As the title says im thinking about replacing the headlights and tailights of my 06 with the 07's (I dont have xenons and I really want them). Seems like they're the same size so im hoping it wnt be a problem to replace.
Im also going to look into some new rims 19 or 20's at most, tinting the rear and side windows and replacing all that black plastic.
Ive been wanting to do this for so long but now that I have the time and money its going to get done.
Ill be heading to the dealership tomorrow for prices and everything. Ill post pics as soon as possible.

I can't imagine the 07 part will fit your 06. Make sure you confirm before ordering...

Be prepared to spend big bucks. Its not only putting in the xenons, if you can do it, you also have to put in the leveling devise. Good luck

While the taillights may be the same size/shape, I don't the headlights are. I heard the grille was enlarged for '07, so headlight shape would likely change. Same goes for the bumper.

As you surely know, the X3 was face-lifted for '07. I really doubt you'll be able to swap out just the headlights and tail lights. You'd have to do bumper, hood, grill, quarter panes... in other words, face-lift it manually.

Let us know what you find out from your dealer, and good luck.

Juan

I would certainly be interested to upgrade the rear lights - will the dealer let you order '07 parts for an earlier vehicle?

The dealer will let you order any part you like, regardless of what they're for - even if you wanted to make a hookah out of the rear tail light. Oh - welcome!!!
