X3 - Aftermarket Sirius S50 - OEM BMW Antenna Help

I have a 2006 X3 with the pre-wired Sirius antenna on the roof. I do not have dvd/navagation or a bmw oem sirus radio installed.

My goal is to install my aftermarket S50 into my x3 and use the OEM Factory antenna on my roof. I haven't been able to find information on the net or any forum to accomplish this.

Does anyone know if there is a special connecter/converter type cable that I will need or how to install my S50 to the OEM Factory Satellite antenna on the roof?

Thank you in advance for your help.

I may have figured this one out.

I thank this forum for showing a pic of where my shark fin pre-wires to. I found it in the trunk and the connection looks just like the satellite connection on my s50. I'm going to pick up the extender cable this weekend and run everything.

Thank you.

Thank you eleen. I just did most of the install this weekend. It came out awsome. I'm just waiting on a 20 foot antenna extension cable so I can tie into my shark fin.

I was hoping to find one in a store but it seems they can only be ordered online.
