Low Tire Pressure Light

I have an 07 x3....live in Boston and has been quite cold. Anytime it drops under 25 degrees F the low tire pressure light comes on. Unfort I don't have a garage and it is getting quite annoying to re set the pressure on the way to and from work. Is anyone out there experiencing this?

You aren't alone. I don't know of a fix for this, but rest assured, your case isnt unique. The cold weather is setting off a lot of the 07's TPMS systems.

Is there any way to disable it?

The warning light might be correct

I had this problem 3 weeks ago and took my X5 to the dealership twice for them to reset the warning light because the tire pressure on all 4's were correct. However they cautioned me that there might be a very slow leak in one of the them. Sure enough, on the third week, the light came back and I saw that the driver's side rear tire is a little deflated compared to the other 3. Took it to a tire shop and they pulled out a nasty nail.

Give it a few more days and check your tire pressure again.

Air temp drops outside, the pressure level in the tire drops. Now if the tires drop at an uneven rate, then the light will come on. I believe the owners manual has a blurb on disabling it, if not, you simply hold the button down while parked to reset it.

- read the manual -

You have to be kidding. The feature is telling you when you have tire problems. Press the button for a few seconds and it will reset its self.
cheers

Thats my point. The feature is telling you something is wrong. Take care of the problem!!
By turning it off doesn't solve the problem.
cheers

PS Using high case letters is rude.

A year ago the light came on for "no reason" but after a few weeks I found a nail in the back right tire. Getting your tires check is much cheaper than replacement. This year its been really cold here and in VT and no problem.
