Anyone have a remote start? I would like to get one, but don't know where.

You will see a lot of pros/cons on this site for remote starters.

Personally, I would not get one - don't like the X sitting from a cold without fluids moving around in there and don't like to mess with the security system thats already there.

But, it was 9 degrees this morning so I see where your inspiration is coming from .
One very highly recommended install stop is sound in motion in Allston/Brighton - no affiliation. (they do a lot of the Patriots and Red Sox installs.) They list remote starters as something that they do so it might be worth giving them a call.

Fwiw, and simply anecdotal,
my Son got his wife one for Hannukah/Xmas
on her Mazda Suv thing. Only a month
into that gig, but she loves it. She warms
it up only a min or so, as it hasn't been
exactly brutal cold in S. Joisey this season.

I've read lots of pros and cons...it's a toss
up, imo, but then again I don't live north of
latitude 36 degrees north.

E61Silver is an unknown quantity at this point
My brother has one on a Ford and loves it.

From what I understand the BMW has a coded key and therefore you will need to hide one in the car,

I have had remote starts in all my vehicles for the past 10 years, so I will miss it. I even have them in trucks. Gonna wait and see.
