I have taken mine to the carwash when it was too cold to wash myself. I go to a touch less one, and it seems to do a decent job.

I went to one after kayaking the other day to get the grime off the car and kayaks, I just did a rinse with the manual hose.

Yup! Which is why I never take my car through a car wash. I either do it by hand or have it detailed... and only if they wash the cars by hand.
