im talkin about the stock radio

when you take your X3 to your dealer he will take your radio out and install a refurbished (probably the one they took out of our X3) radio, same for any nondealer repairable transmission, motor, etc, etc part.

My dealer told me that this is a known problem with homemade discs (even with no labels). He said that even if he put a different unit in, it would still have the same problem. Anybody still having problems after refurb unit? Or ever have the problem with a "real" disc?

One of my Keith Jarrett discs, 24 Preludes & Fuges(Shostakovich),
a store bought 2 disc set, sticks in my X...one of the discs was in
there for like a month; I became very familiar with the piano work
on that disc... One day, I hit eject for the umptyseventh time
and out it popped. I have never reinserted that disc in the X, understandably.

It's the only disc that stuck in 6 1/2 yrs, though I have a few homemade
compilations that "won't play" as the BizCD player says "no disc" when one
is inserted. An anomaly, imo.
Anecdotal info, I realize...
