X3 2.5i power upgrade

It seems as if the Shark Injector Software is not available for the X3. Do you guys know of any other software that is effective and affordable, that could be combined with a cold air intake?

I've searched this forum and haven't found much. Thanks.

:xoutpost:

you can try DINAN. that way, the dealer will still honor the factory warranty...(but they may have to do it...)

No more warranty left on my GF's 2004 X3, so don't care about warranty.

I once had Shark Inejctor + CAI on my 1999 328i, and it provided a slighlty enhanced throttle reponse + gasoline mileage improvement. Can't say it improved power that much, but would be happy with better fuel efficiencey on my GF's 4000Lbs X3 and 184HP 2.5l engine.

Did not require that on my ex E46/M3, or on my current E39/M5.

http://www.dinancars.com/Series.asp?...is=36&Model=91

I checked out the Dinan page for the 2.5i X3.

Wowsy: +8HP and +9ft-lbs for Stage-2 Software+CAI worth $700USD +taxes+shipping.

That equates to a whopping 4% increase which I probably would not feal and not notice at the gasoline station.

X3 Upgrade

Try and locate a garage that does Autolgic, had my X3 3d up-graded, first class, plus 40bhp and oddles of torque, it appears also to have made the auto box a little better, .

Cheers ,Derek

Just re-read yor notice re power up grade, note the petrol power upgrade is not worth doing, Sorry

Derek, you gotta stop torturing us with your oil burner. The U.S. market is so ready for it but it ain't coming any time soon.
