No one, from memory...and, speaking of
my fading memory: I don't recall a post
here of anyone's tire sidewalls "bubbling"
on their Xs. CJ had a bubble on his 3 series,
and some sidewall gashes from road debris
have been noted, but not sidewall bubbles.

I see you are in Gotham City, and realize that
it can be tough on tires/wheels there; maybe
a good investment for you.

My friend with a 2002(?) Audi A4 cabrio also had a side wall bubble, front right tire. That was his second A4 (1997) and he said he won't buy another Audi, for several reasons.

What the heck does not wanting another Audi have to do with sidewall bubbles? My 00 328 had Bridgestone Turanza's on it. after 10k miles I got a bubble on a front tire. I don't dislike BMW's, I just buy Michelins tires when it's time to re-tire a car.

I usually dont get the Wheel and Tire insurance except on my Wrangler Rubicon, since most of the times I drive it its not on pavement. It has saved me twice on my recent set.

I buy the GY Road Hazard insurance on my Z tires. It's only $100 and I usually save that much on new tires when they give you a % off based on tread depth. Be careful though, most GY tire stores are independently owned and won't honor the protection plan if you bought it from another GY store.... yes, crazy, but i've run into it twice.
