Bluetooth with Nokia 6300

Has anyone tried successfully to pair a Nokia 6300 with the builtin bluetooth kit on a 2006 X3?

Thanks.

Before you go nuts trying. Check out this link. I haven't looked to see if your phone is on it but it will give you something to do.

Thanks but I have already checked the official UK BMW list at http://www.bmw.co.uk/bmwuk/bluetooth...-bmwuk,00.html. The phone isn't listed but then I have tried anotehr one that wasn't listed and it worked. Just trying to find out exactly what I should be looking for in the phone so I could maybe check with Nokia?

Cheers.

Yep. I find the even with my approved phone, bluetooth function is limited at best. It's a PITA to save voice dail info as you have to say the name and repeat the phone number you'd like to save for future voice dail. Where in the moto e815, the phone will recognize any name you have in your phone book by voice. I do like being able to use bt while driving as I think it make me be able to better pay attention to the road while conversing. Now if we could figure out how women could automaticly apply make-up and drink coffee and men could read the paper while driving. ;-)

My wife talks on the cell phone (won't use BT for some reason), drinks coffee, and puts on make-up all at the same time. Might be why everyone at the body shop knows me by first name.
