oooops
I think i know the answer but just looking for some second opions........
I test fit my new sport steering wheel today,to make sure it worked properly before i ordered the airbag for it. I had to reconnect the battery to make sure the multi function swithces worked ....and now my airbag light is on  ...... So i take it that the light is on because there was no airbag connected, and this is the reson for the light now. A simple reset from the stealer should fix it.....right?

Unfortunately, last I checked the stealer has to reset it.

ya i will disconnect the battery overnight and c if it drains the system. I am pretty sure the only reason the light is on, is because i ran power while the bag was not connected, and that is what is giving me the fault light.

but you might try disconnecting the battery for a couple of hours.
