Air conditioning control
Can I retrofit manual control of car air conditioning to automatic climate control unit? http://www.realoem.com/bmw/partgrp.d...93&hg=64&fg=20 Has anyone done that already? Should only control panel be changed or something else too? thanks

Don't know why you'd "downgrade" from an auto to a manual climate control.....doubt anyone has actually done it here.
Is there something with the auto climate program that's bugging you?

My bad, misunderstood.
I think it's really difficult and definately not cheap because you'd also need to buy the parts that detect the cabin temp. Can't think of anyone here that's done it, but perhaps someone with more expertise might respond.

I did a little more research for you.

Why don't you just turn off Auto and control it manually? I do.
