noise turning left

I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem before, or if anyone has any insight as to what the cause may be. I have a 2005 X3 3.0i manual transmission with the sport package. It seems that after I release the brakes and make a left turn, there is a squealing noise similar to break squeal. It only happens after I release the brakes, and only when turning left. It is fairly loud and eventually goes away until I step on the brakes again. It doesn't happen while my foot is on the brakes, only immediately afterwards when I turn left. I have been to my local dealer twice and I keep ketting the same answer; "We were unable to duplicate the problem, everything seems just fine." The car is still under warrranty and I want to have it fixed before the warranty is up. Thanks in advance for everyone's help.

Ask your dealer/tech to ride with you in the car while you drive it.

Unfortunately, since I work during the hours of operation of the BMW dealer's service department, I cannot get to the dealership to ride with the technician evaluating the car. I am at the mercy of the dealer since I can only verbally describe the noise.

Even Saturdays? I really think if it is that annoying you should make the time somehow. Plead with your boss, work late that day to make up the time. Is your dealer close enough to make an appointment at lunch for a quick ride to demonstrate the problem?
