X3 Rear DVD Installation
Hi X3 forum, I have just purchased a rear headrest DVD system for my 2006 X3 (without nav) and would like to hear from anyone who can help me with installation of the DVD player in the boot, I need to know wiring colours etc as I cannot locate any spare harnesses that I thought would be there for the Nav option.

Any help, Pic's etc etc appreciated.

Hi,
it's my understanding that if you fitting the retro-fit kit, then for the X3 the "X" connector to plug into is at the rear of the stereo unlike the X5 where it is in the boot.

if you have the 6 wire connection harness i can email the installation PDF from BM to you.

The DVD kit isn't BMW branded, its Alpine monitors and a Veba player so no X connectors or harnesses.......!
