2007 X3 Programming Question
Can the dealer program the doors to unlock when the car is put into Park? I can't tell you how many times, I have put the car in Park and then go to the trunk or the backseat to get my son out and the doors are locked and then have to go back to the front of the car to hit the unlock button or use the remote.

BMW does not have an option for automatic unlock on any vehicle.
IMO automatic lock is one of the most useless features possible on a vehicle, just behind electronically adjustable pedals and a power tailgate. |

I'm sure there are parents, handicapped, or elderly folks who need and appreciate the convenience of a power tail gate. It would have been handy when I had a Pathfinder and my daughter was a toddler. She was a real handful at 2-3 years old (and still is at 20). |
