aftermarket tire replacement--pressure monitor?

Hello All,

I need to replace my tires on my 2005 X3. I assume that if I get them replaced at Costco instead of the dealership, this will not affect the warranty and the tire pressure monitor will still work--is this true?

Also, any recommendations? I am looking at the Michelin MX4 Primacy's.

Thanks, Ben

Not a problem, we couldn't find what we wanted at CostCo. We bought at Discount Tire.

MAKE sure the tire pressure is set correctly BEFORE you "initialize" the system.
Go to pg 49/50 of you Owners manual
or here.

which will take you here.
