X3 VIN info +

What information on the X3 can be determined from the VIN, such as options added when ordered and MONTH and YEAR it was made?

How can you tell from pictures if it has xenon, servotronic, premium stereo, premium package, auto dim mirror, leather vs letherette?
Why do some have reflective piping on the seats and other dont?

from VIN, you generally can identify which country it was made, color of car, etc. but for more specific things, you have to search from within the database of BMW

xenon - there's a projector, not all reflective
servotronic - light steering (can't tell from pics)
premium stereo - DSP settings
premium package - leather seats
leatherette - vinyl like, does not wrinkle
auto dimming mirror - there's a sensor (dot) in the top center of the mirror itself. mirror will turn green/dark when the back housing sensor detects darkness, and light on the mirror side.

the reflective piping is on leatherette, i think.
