urgent - Front passenger WINDOW replacement

hi folks...
unfortunately last saturday my X3'04 was broken into and they took IPOD and cellphones nothing major but now I have to take it to the stealer and get the window replaced but labour rates are too high they say they take 3 hours $130 per hour plus the part $150 etc etc...so..I bought the part and I want to take the X to a local shop to install but I'm afraid now bc I made a call to one of these and told me they probably would have a problem installing it due to a "computer chip" that european cars have..so..I really appreciate if you guys can give me some advice on this.. should I take it to the stealer or to the shop keeping in mind that the mentioned chip would cause a problem???? urgent help please,..thanks!!!
FYI insurance deductible is 1000..too high for a claim..I already changed it to 500
