BMW Bluetooth - slow contact sync
First post - please be kind!! Yesterday I took delivery of my '06 X3 and so far I'm loving it. The question I have is regarding the bluetooth prep. I have a SE K850i phone and I got it and the car to pair flawlessly. Handsfree etc all works a treat but what I'm finding is that it's taking ages to sync my contacts list to the car. It looks also like it's doing a full sync every time I start the car so of course the reality is I can't view and call from the address book for about half an hour everytime I drive!! Is this normal or is the car supposed to retain the contacts list in memory and only sync changes? I have just under 100 numbers in my phone. Any info would be much appreciated. Cheers Steve |

I think is does sync each time, but half an hour is abnormally long. I'd expect just a minute or so.
BTW, welcome to the forum!
