Replacing DRL/halo bulbs (corona Rings) for E83 X3?

Hey guys,

I'm just wondering if there are any options out there for those of us with X3s to replace our DRL Bulbs(Corona Rings). I've done some research but it doesn't seem like the Piaa LED bulb is compatible with X3s?(Only with X5s and 3er E92)

Has anyone change their bulbs to LED to match the Xenons?

I found this via a link from an ad on the site. Has anyone tried this before?

i was thinking about doing the same thing... Bimmian.com has the same kit I think. I emailed them and they said it was extremely easy to do. Rated 1 out 5 on the difficulty scale.

Yeah it was very weird. I just thought that theres no way they don't have one for the X3, since afterall it is only the replacement of a bulb right? But some how when I did my research most of the popular kits that other model uses i.e. X5, are not compatible or at least it doesn't say that the E83 X3 can use it.

That's great news that theres another kit out there that can fit the E83 X3! Did they by any chance have any pictures of it on the X3? So far I haven't seen any of these kits in pictures!

im not sure if they had any E83 pics. Im sure if you email them, they can provide you with some. Their customer service is usually excellent.
