Oil Change capacities

Hi;

I have the attached table showing engine oil capacities for various BMW chassis/engine combinations. To use it you need to know the chassis and engine codes.

I have a 2007 X3 3.0si. Although the table shows 6.5L for both possible E83 chassis entries in the table ... I am curious to know the engine code for this vehicle .... does anyone have any info?

The facelifted X3 3.0si has the N52, shared with the E60, E70, E81, E87, and E90.

The good ol' X3 used the M54 for the 6-cylinders.
