Arrow Mileage check-in

For curiosity's sake, let's gather up all the X3 folks and report in on the current mileage (or kilometres) for our respective X3s. I've just dropped the car off for Inspection II and other services, and I'd like to get an idea of how long folks have been driving their X3s.

I've got a 2004 X3 2.5i, with 64.500mi.

I almost fell off my chair. 64,500 miles? Why not 103,200 km? Our X5World Champion of Metric System Adoption is slipping

At least he put a period instead of a comma.

I'm not slipping, its a matter of precision.

The X3 records in miles and its not switch-able like the E90 (which has 33.600km). I purposely wanted to report what's on the odometer instead of doing a conversion and possilbly missing a few decimal points, thereby making my kilometerstand less than precise.

I plan to switch over the consumption over to l/100km. However, changing distance over to km will permanently throw off any service records and state inspections and cause more trouble than intended, even if I don't plan to sell the vehicle anytime soon.

Yes, and he used the correct spelling of kilometre as well!
