Drum is on a distinguished road
Anyone gone "offroad" in their X3?

Taking mine into the "woods" for the first time this weekend. Nothing too serious at all, just a few miles of rutted dirt/gravel roads and some low, slick spots that are perpetually wet.

The terrain was more than enough to "defeat" my efforts to depart with my E30 325is, at least until I managed to convince a couple of my buddies to ride out with me seated in the trunk.

One of the reasons that I bought this fun lil buggy was my frequent paintball excusions to all manner of poorly prepared fields and, of course, if Old Man Winter ever decides to come back to visit us in Pa.. I am quite excited to see how well this new ride measures up to the challenges of my "home" field in New Milford, Pa.. I am sure it will be fine.

But I am definitely NOT looking forward to experiencing the vagaries of my "sport" suspension ('05 version) on some fairly washboard sections though.
I am ready to do some shaking and bumping, but there will be no rolling.

Anyone have any experience with their own X3 off road or near off road? Post your tale.
