Sat nev in X3 question.

Hi. Had a sat nav retrofitted into my 2006 X3. All genuine BMW parts and it works fine apart from I can't highlight the traffic information option on the menu.
Can anybody help? Cheers

The map CD/DVD used as well as the SATNAV has to have TMC enabled
So basicly 3 things have to work
1 you have to enable TMC
2 your map cd/dvd has to have TMC support
3 the channel brodcasting TMC has to brodcast in your area

and annoyingly with the X3 nav Radio, for TMC to work you actually have to be tuned and listening to the station broadcasting TMC as it isn't a dual-tuner radio OR be listening to a CD/Aux source

I know this is going to make me sound thick but I can't find anything on the display that says TMC.
Whereabouts is it or what do I have to go into to find it?

Ok,quick update and another plea for help, lol.
Got hold of the cd with TMC enablement on but it still won't bring the TMC option up on my sat nav. I'm running the latest software version 3.1' Would it be worth downgrading the software?
Any ideas??
