2004 X3 Right Rear Window off the track. Help!!

I have a 2004 X3 and over the weekend I noticed my right rear passenger window will not go up after only having it down for no more then 5min. I took apart the door panel yesterday. (Sunday) to see where the problem was and noticed that everything looked fine except I just saw the cable moving up and down when using the switch to lower and raise the window. Is that cable supposed to be attached somehow through that white plastic piece that is attached to about the center of the window that moves up and down with the window? Anyone's thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
-Matt
