Sunroof rattle?

Have any of you had your sunroof rattle going over bumpy road in the X3? Is this a problem or just an annoyance?

Went to the dealership, they repaired it by adding a felt strip tape (or something like that). Since then I have had no problems. I hope this helps.

After I reviewed the service form from the dealer, it simply stated that the roof panels (both) were adjusted and felt tape was installed on the touch points.

This completely resolved the problem we had with our 06 X3 M-sport. Hope this helps.

I had the felt-treatment done by the dealer several weeks ago. Now there's a loud thunk when i open the sunroof so I haven't used it. I need to get it back to the dealer but have just been too busy.

I believe its the pads they use and that they are "sticky" I have the same issue and it has been about 6 months since treatment. If you touch the felt pads they defiantly have a stickiness to them.
