Just ordered a new 2006 X3
Since it did not have the running boards, I'm wondering how difficult it would be to install them my myself afterwards. I would think that it should not be that bad and more or less bolt on type of thing. Does anyone have experience? Also since the dealer tried to rob me 400 CAD for aux installation I decided to not take it and buy the part later and install myself. I hope it's a nice car. |

:welcome: Congrats on your order and welcome to the forums. Make sure to post a few pics when you get your X3.
Can't help you with X3 running boards but the aux input install is a fairly simple DIY project and is only about $35. |

Congrats and welcome!
X3 running boards are a fairly simple DIY where a lift is not required to perform this mod. Go for it! |
