Welcome to Xoutpost (formerly X3world) n

I too have an '04 X3, and it'll provide lots of fun in motoring.

Here is a couple of crappy cellphone pics. Everything seemed to be in pretty good shape on it. The previous owner purchased it as a CPO and also bought the extended maintenance program with it. It's due for the oil change in 1100 miles, currently has 66000. I think I can take it in as soon as I get under 1000 correct? Tint goes in on Thursday as the privacy glass in Oklahoma just won't cut it. Anything other suggestions as too what I might have the dealer look at when I bring it in. A couple items I have discovered but no sure that the CPO warranty or the maintenance program will cover are.

1. One of the roof racks appears to have some rust under the powder coating (appears to be a common problem)

2. The plastic panel on the rear cargo door seems to come loose sometimes and it rattles a little bit. I can just snap it back on but it just comes loose again.

3. One of the windshield moldings. Lower left hand corner is barely hanging on. I looked at the maintenance history and it has been replaced before.

4. Steering wheel has a couple of worn spots but that use not defect.

Don't know for sure if the CPO or maintenance will do anything about item 1 through 3 but i'll check.

Forgot to add, I don't know if the previous owner lost it or what but I ordered a new black cargo cover off of Ebay yesterday.

Cool the 04 was the best in my opinion. Have one myself, and have not had any problems.

Just ordered the OEM matte titanium interior trim pieces. I am sure alot of people won't think it will look good with the darker interior but I will post some pics when I am done. My would trim will be up for sell shortly if anybody wants it.
