October sales of the BMW X3 and X5 Series totaled only 3,543 units, down a significant 39.6% from the 5,865 trucks sold in October, 2004. YTD sales of the X Series are up only 3.6% when compared to the first 10 months of 2004.

For those of you who are interested Mercedes-Benz sold 2,641 M Class units this month, up 13.9% from the 2,319 sold last October. The all new 2006 Model Year M Class was introduced in April, 2005. Note that the first R Class models were sold in September.

Please note that I only report the United States sales data.
