Hi guys!
I'm Emiliano from ITALY and I'm happy to have discorverd this site walking on bmwpassion.com italian site.. I live in Taranto in Puglia.
I have ordered in september my new car..a Bmw X3 2.0d..and it will arrive to me in the 3rd week of january 2006.. I have choosen diesel engine..in italy we especially use these because they are cheaper..
The 2 litres diesel has 110kW (150 HP) with 330 Nm of maximum couple..my X3 will be black sapphire, full optional version with graublau leather interior, which is the only colour of gray leather (not available in Usa I've seen) which permitt to have black and not gray internal plastics..
The price of my version with optionals is 45600€ included all taxes(53200$)..a Bmw in italy is more expensive than in usa!!!
I'm happy to be in thise nice community and I' sorry for my not very good english..goodbye!

Welcome to the board and congratulations on your new car!

By the way, my wife is Italian/American. She speaks Italian fluently, and we visit Italy almost every year. We go to Asiago, which where her parents are from (Asiago and Milano). We love Italy. What a wonderful place, and what warm, beautiful people! We're going back in May.
