Unidentified two prong socket in glove box...ipod adapter?
We just purchased a 2007 X3 and I'm not sure if it has an ipod adapter. There is a two prong female plug with a sliding cover in the glove box. Is this a connection for an ipod? If not, does anyone know what this is? If so, I'm guessing I can only buy the cable from BMW...correct? Thanks.

I might be wrong but it sounds like a socket for a flashlight?

I was gonna say flashlight as well, but I don't remember it having a sliding cover over it.
