Extended Maintenance - worthwhile?
I have an 'O6 X3 Sport with CPO warranty. I am coming on 50k and am debating if I should purchase the extended maintenance. I had my brakes checked and my rears are like new and the fronts have 3/4 wear left. My engine belt was replaced a few weeks ago as well as my front wiper blades. I guess the main items I would have to worry about are Inspection 2 (which seems to be on average $500-$600) and oil changes/wiper blades. Does it seem worthwhile to spend the $1500 for the extended maintenance or am I better off just paying as I go. My CPO ends in April 2012 so this would give me about 2 years of coverage. TIA!

I'd be less worried about the 3.0 engine vs the 4.4-4.8, so for me...I'd say no. The little items that go wrong w/ most X5's probably won't be covered.
