X3 Rear Door Panel Removal - WITH door Closed

Is there any way to remove the rear door panel from the X3 with the door closed though? The problem is that my door no longer opened from the outside so i had someone try opening from the inside and that worked then they shut the door and decided to put the child lock so guess what now it no longer opened from the inside either.

Any ideas?

I don't see how it can be done without opening the door. the bottom and sides have clips and the top is sitting on a lip with clips that you have to pull up on to remove.

Although... if you can remove the rear seat you might be able to do it since it is what would be blocking you from removing the panel.

If you can't do it then I'd recommend biting the bullet and taking it to a shop or the dealer and let them fix the lock so you can open the door.
