is there enough space to carry a full spare in the factory donut location?

as title asks, can anyone confirm whether or not a full sized spare can be placed and secured in the location of the factory donut?

in particular, i am looking to have a style 205 wheel (18x8, 235/50/18 tire) there, if possible.

tia.

Not according to the owner's manual. It says that no standard size wheel will fit there, let alone an 18" one.

No problem. The earlier manuals are posted on this site in the Online References section. All manuals are posted on www.bmwusa.com, in the owner's section.
