Heated Mirrors

A question for the masses. Does the 06' X3 with the winter package have heated mirrors? The sales person told me it does, and they are activated when the rear defrost button is toggled on. Either mine doesn't work or I was told a bunch of BS. BMW's site says nothing about heated mirrors on the X3. Although it seems rather stupid to have all the other winter gadgets on the vehicle but not heated mirrors. Thanks.

My X3 2.5i Sport 2005, Has got Heated Mirrors But I Have Also Got Automatic Folding Mirrors it was an extra option when the car was built.. They work when you operate your rear window demister switch...

I thought the heater mirrors come on when the outside temperature falls below a certain temp. eg. 32F. Same for the heater windshield washer jets... no need to turn them on seperately.

To answer my own question. Yes the mirrors are heated on the 06' with the winter package. When the rear defrost/heater is on so are the mirrors. Thanks for the help though.
