Subfolders
Does it support subfolders?
I remember that some of the radios that were not supposed to even play MP3s did play them if the cd did not subfolders. Maybe this version that officially plays them supports subfolders. |

My 2006 does support subfolders. The radio shows the 'folder sequence number' in front of the track number and it is even possible to change from one folder to another without skipping song by song
Folders can be changed by first pressing 'm' and then the arrows on either side of the 'm' button. There is one subfolder on my test cd that has files that do not function and the player skips them one by one. I have to verify what is wrong with those files. Maybe the files are encoded using VBR or has weird file names with unsupported characters. But otherwise works perfectly. If it only showed the song name.... |
