Need HELP! 06' X3 Mystic Blue Front Licensee Plate Bracket

Hi Everyone,

Really need some help here. I just moved to Washington State and realized that I needed a front license plate bracket put on. I took it to BMW of Seattle where they told me it would cost roughly $170 for a paint matched front bracket!! Seems crazy to me that a plastic bracket would cost that much.

Any ideas? Really don't want to pay that.

I'm willing to part with my front licence plate bracket from my 2004 (haven't used one for years) but no idea if that would fit the bumper of the 2006 models, plus it's not painted. I also have a spare (new) one for a X5 but no idea if that would fit either.
